Anna Wallack is the founder and creative director of Misha and Puff. In 2012, while on maternity leave from a career as a stylist, Wallack was inspired to start a children’s knitwear line. She made the first samples by hand and shopped then door to door. By 2013, to meet growing demand, she moved production to a group of 10 women at a knitting center on the outskirts of Lima, Peru, which also hosted an after-school enrichment program, providing hot meals for kids. Fast forward to today, the mother of two employs over 800 knitters to serve over 80 boutiques globally, plus her e-shop.
