Elisabeth Prueitt is the co-founder and James Beard Award-winning pastry chef behind S.F. institutions Tartine Bakery, Tartine Manufactory, and Bar Tartine. She is also the author of three cookbooks, the latest being the 2017 tome Tartine All Day: Modern Recipes for the Home Cook. Inspired by her daughter Archer, who has cerebral palsy, in 2012, Liz co-founded the Conductive Education Center of San Francisco (CECSF), a nonprofit school for children with motor challenges. Liz has also been outspoken on the topic of “balance” not being merely a women’s issue.
